Sandbar Suds is a family-owned business founded in 2019, proudly rooted in Conneaut, Ohio. We handcraft chemical-free soaps, body care products, and natural home and laundry goods — all made with simple, honest ingredients that are gentle on your skin and kind to the earth. No harsh chemicals. No compromises.

We want to give you the best lathering, bubbly bar of soap you've ever used — turning a daily routine into something you actually look forward to. You'll find yourself hunting for reasons to jump back in the shower. Every product is proudly made in the USA.

Our Intention
We craft soaps and body care that spark joy — through fragrance, lather, and feel. When a customer leaves a little happier, that joy ripples outward. That's the goal.
Our Products
Every soap is crafted with nourishing coconut, palm, and olive oils, scented only with phthalate- and paraben-free fragrances. No synthetic preservatives. Just clean, honest ingredients.

The Sandbar Suds family is four people deep — passionate, honest, and genuinely excited to share products that bring a little extra joy to everyday routines. We're committed to gentle, chemical-free living and to spreading that enthusiasm with everyone we meet.
Our Community
We're committed to supporting the local community and the small-town spirit of our region. We source supplies locally whenever possible — and even harvest honey and beeswax from our very own on-site apiary.

Susanne Horvath
Co-Founder
Susanne is an animal lover, side-by-side enthusiast, and longtime Ohio Realtor. She holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Kent State University and brings 15 years of experience with Century 21 HomeStar. A dedicated volunteer at the Ashtabula Animal Protective League, Susanne's off-hours are spent chasing Lake Erie sunsets, riding jet skis, and gathering around campfires with the people she loves.
Amber Kissman
Co-Founder
Amber is a plant mom, yoga enthusiast, and proud rescue cat parent (four and counting). She holds a biology degree from Mercyhurst University and brings years of graphic design experience to the team, currently working as a fraud expert with IPS of Erie. Her academic path spans Entomology to Organizational Leadership — and her weekends span four-wheeling to hunting down the perfect cup of tea.
Jeneane DiFilippo
Co-Founder
Born in Germany and raised in Conneaut since age four, Jeneane is a respiratory therapist at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Management from Mercyhurst University in 2020. A devoted fan of Lake Erie, Jeneane spends her summers soaking up the sun by the water and her evenings around bonfires with family and friends.
Analynn DiFilippo
Co-Founder
Born and raised in Conneaut — and a lifelong Cleveland sports fan (yes, even the Browns). Analynn earned both a bachelor's in Hospitality Management and a master's in Organizational Leadership from Mercyhurst University, and is a licensed Realtor with Keller Williams and Century 21 HomeStar. Off the clock, she's on the softball diamond, the racquetball court, or out by Lake Erie with music playing and mud flying.
